Hello my name is Tony and welcome to Paws First Yorkshire. A caring, reliable and professional pet care, dog walking service operating in Yeadon, Apperley Bridge, Guiseley, Horsforth, Rawdon, Menston, Otley and surrounding areas. We are fully insured, DBS checked and referenced.
I've been working as a professional dog walker for over 2 years now, and I'm currently studying an Advanced Diploma in Dog Behavior with the British College of Canine Studies. Which is going really well and in the near future will be offering dog behavior and training services.

I believe that by offering a unique and caring pet care service, I can help you help your pet be as healthy and happy as possible and I ensure that you, as the customer will always be delighted with my service.
I understand that offering a caring, reliable and flexible dog walking service is the best way to a healthy, happy and contented pet. Using a dog walker like myself is ideal if you work, go on holiday or have social engagements etc. Every care is taken to ensure your pets are well looked after and cared for, giving you peace of mind whilst your away.
I can tailor your dog walks to suit. I offer 30 minute or 1 hour walks whether in a small group walk of no more than 5 dogs which is great for play and socialisation or one to one walks for dogs that prefer their own company.

DOG WALKS
Whatever the weather I will pick your dog up from your house and transport them safely to a local woodland or countryside walk and walk them fully supervised by myself in a small group of no more than five dogs, this format is excellent for canine interaction, socialisation and play I try and vary my walk locations to keep your dogs interested and stimulated. Once the walk is finished be it a 30 minute or 1 hour walk your dog will be returned safely back to your house and towel dried if needed and water refreshed.
PUPPY CARE
When your new puppy arrive home, he may not be ready to go out for walkies straight away. Paws First offers a home visit service for your puppy which includes a toilet break, clean up any little accidents, playtime and plenty of cuddles. I also practise some of the basic command training to get your puppy started on the right paw.
CAT CARE
This an excellent alternative to leaving your cat in a cattery. Being a cat owner all my life I know from experience that cats are happier within in their own home. Cats are less adaptable to change than dogs so this service is a perfect way of looking after your cat whilst you’re away.
I would visit your home once or twice daily to feed, groom, tend to litter trays, refresh water, administer medication if required and play with your cat.
Tony has walked our dog Tilly for nearly two years now. He’s very reliable, flexible and friendly and Tilly loves her walks with Tony. When Tilly was a puppy Tony assisted us with her care when we were at work. He took great care of her and conducted some puppy training which we found extremely helpful. We always rest in the knowledge that Tilly is in great hands when in Tony’s care. We have no reservation in recommending Tony’s pet services.
